Stop Fixing

When I work with organizations on their development programs, I witness a lot of discomfort around encouraging employees to be able to share their issues with each other. I have a theory that people become uncomfortable because they assume they have to fix other people's problems. What if you could listen to a co-worker share their challenge with you and NOT fix it? When the assumption of fixing another's problems is removed, the discomfort fades and the mind begins to open.
