What Are You Tolerating?
It is very human to have bumps in our relationship roads. After all, we are highly complicated and messy. Therefore, our relationships can also become complicated and messy.
When my relationships begin to cause tension and drain energy from my life, I like to ask myself "what am I tolerating?" The answer is usually "I am tolerating bad behavior." Sigh. This is true in both my professional and personal relationships.
Here are some examples of what I am currently tolerating (this feels gross to write and share this!):
- Being unaccountable.
- Being judgmental.
- Fixing, rescuing, and people-pleasing.
- Not being present.
These are just a few things I would like to address in my relationships. How about you? What are you tolerating in yours?
